Nice boots, December 27, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Ariat Men's Workhog RT Composite toe Pull-On Boot (Apparel) I've had these boots for a couple of weeks now, and wear them every day as my primary footwear. So far, so good. Obviously, they're still in the break-in phase, but for being so new, they're quite comfortable. Unlike some boots I've worn, I don't have the intense desire to get home and kick them off to give my feet a rest. Really, I think the overall comfort and foot support exceeds any boots I've worn in the past.
The craftsmanship appears to be quite good. There are no visible defects to speak of. The leather seems to be of good quality, and the boots look pretty much identical to those pictured on Amazon.
I'm going from 3 consecutive pairs of Red Wing boots, which I liked quite well, insofar as looks and comfort. However, the Red Wings, I was blowing out the soles about every year. As in, they'd be worn down to nothing, with pits appearing in the bottom. Not exactly comforting when you're walking through mesquite patches with regularity. Will the... Read more
