Great Boot, November 24, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Irish Setter Men's 3875 Soft Paw Lace-up Boot (Apparel) I had another pair of boots similar to these that lasted almost 13 years with regular use. This is very similar to that one and I am pleased with this later version. I recommend sole inserts such as Danner's Airthotic Instep Arch Support for an even better, more comfortable fit. I wear the size I ordered (9-1/2)and they fit nicely. If you wear heavy socks, it may take 1/2 size larger.
just ok, May 1, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Irish Setter Men's 3875 Soft Paw Lace-up Boot (Apparel) I was only half pleased with these boots from the redwing company. after spending less on a pair of Irish setter hunting boots which totally blew me away with style, comfort and excellent fit, these chukkas were a bit of a let down. I feel they are a half size smaller than the USA 8 that I ordered. The materials in the sole and uppers don't seem to be of the same quality as my first purchase and the boots are not real comfortable where they finish against my shin. However at $180.00 Aud landed here I will be wearing them in and then wearing them out.
